Borussia Dortmund went on top of the Bundesliga table after an impressive 5-1 victory over Wolfsburg.
The Bundesliga giants, who defeated both Legia Warsaw and Darmstadt by 6-0, scored their 17th goal after just 3 games.
Their forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also scored a brace, netting his fourth league goal in two matches.
However, it was full-back Raphael Guerreiro who fired home to take the lead for Dortmund, before the Gabon international’s strike looped in.
Wolfsburg looked headed for sure defeat. Even as Daniel Didavi scored one to shorten Dortmund’s lead, Ousmana Dembele tapped in to dampen Wolfsburg hopes once more, before Aubameyang slid home his second and Lukasz Piszczek headed in the fifth.
With 3 wins in four games, Dortmund is on top of Bayern Munich in league standings thanks to superior goal difference.
However, Bayern, who were semi-finalists of the Champions League last season, has a game in hand against Hertha Berlin.
Hertha themselves are also level on points with Bayern after a perfect start in the German top flight, while Eintracht Frankfurt are also on nine points after defeating Ingolstadt 2-0.
